The other day I heard Will call our cat, Maisy, a "dirty ho." I think it was more like, "You dirty ho." Trying to compose myself, I asked him where he heard that. He told me, "From the movie, The Cat in the Hat."
I told a friend of mine who confirmed it with an internet search. It seems at one point in the movie the "cat" (Mike Myers) walks onto a garden hoe which hits him, and he calls it a "dirty hoe." I'm guessing the line was put in to amuse us adults who have to watch such movies with our kids (I have watched the movie but do not remember that part).
Will has a list of words that he knows he can't say (stupid, hate, idiot, dumb, et al). Now I have to add "dirty ho" to the list.

Maybe you should change the name of your blog to "The September of the Blog" since you have produced more posts in September than you have all year. Dirty Hoe!
Maybe you shouldn't talk Mr. "My Blog is Weak"
What happened at 4am this morning, someone went around leaving us comments about what they really think of us, and then came to their senses and deleted them before we got a chance to read them?!?!
Must've been a dirty hoe.
That's too funny! Now that you mentioned that about the movie I do remember a few things Mike Myers said that was obviously geared toward the adults. Isn't it funny though how its almost like kids know exactly which words to pick out that are "bad"?!?
btw, next time you're going to wait over a month to post, please do it after a Bear Grylls post, so I can see him every time I check your blog, I have learned to hate the "Bun in the Oven" saying and also "Wrigley Field" - thanks to Kristy.
T5M - excuse me. Some of us don't have the funds to hire a blogkeeper like yourself.
