So Erin asked me the other day, "When are you going to update your blog?" Frankly, I don't have the blog energy that Erin has. I don't know how she does it - three kids (one being almost a toddler), an over-full-time job, mother duties, wife duties, friend duties, her own duties, etc, etc, etc....
I'm thinking she has a blog-maid. That has to be it. A "blogkeeper" if you will.
On another note (and this is back-tracking a bit), we heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time on August 3rd. It's a pretty cool experience and very relieving (and it becomes all the more "real"). I heard it again yesterday at my appointment, and my mid-wife's guess is that it's a boy! I was thinking girl, but we'll find out on September 19th at my ultrasound appointment (if the baby decides to cooperate of course).
I don't really care if it's a boy or a girl. As cliche as it sounds, as long as it's a healthy baby that is all that matters!

You may notice that my blog has amounted to little more than four pictures with captions, it's not the blog that it once was. Time Schmime.
I'm expending (is that a word?) my writing energies elsewhere at the current time.
Plus, "A picture is worth a thousand words".
In terms of the baby, I can't decide what I want it to be, so I guess I'll be happy with whatever pops out of there. Looking forward to the 19th though - so we can start SHOPPING!!! YEAH! Just in time for football season!
Looking forward to finding out the gender of the baby! However, I won't be shopping with you on Sunday's during football season.
Sometimes, mothers rather hang out with their sons! With the end of baseball season and the beginning of football season, shopping will have to take second place!
