Well, I have some news.
I'm pregnant! I'll be twelve weeks tomorrow and we heard the heartbeat yesterday so I'm now "out of the closet." Let's just say it wasn't exactly planned. I took four pregnancy tests (all positive), and I still didn't believe it. Even up to hearing the heartbeat yesterday I wasn't quite a believer (although six weeks of nausea should have converted me).
I had wanted to tell the kids last night, but Shaun said he had a surprise and wanted to do it this morning. Unfortunately he wouldn't fill me in on said surprise which killed me! As I was watching TV in bed late last night, he came upstairs and asked if I wanted to see part of the surprise. I walked downstairs to see a Christmas Tree with presents underneath!! How cute was that?!
So this morning, when Will and Mina woke up, Shaun asked them to go downstairs and get him a drink of water. I counted down quietly as they walked down the stairs together......"Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six, Five, Four, Three, Two.........."
A collective, "WHOA!!!" escaped from their mouths. Will shouted, "Daddy! Mommy! Santa came and brought presents!" So we woke up a very sleepy Joelle and all proceeded downstairs.
The kids each opened a gift and then Shaun handed them a smaller wrapped gift. He told them to open them at the same time. They were pacifiers with tags on them saying, "Congratulations, you're going to be a big sister/brother again!" Looks of "what?" came in my direction from the girls. So we confirmed the newest arrival, and I answered a few questions (and one comment from Joelle saying, "I hope you know you aren't going to get much sleep!").
Oh, and Shaun got me a brand new stroller that I wanted! He's the best!
Anyway, the due date is February 18th and we look forward to meeting the newest Casey!

Congratulations! You sound like Erin did about 2 years and some months ago when she found out about Amaya! Isn't the first 12 weeks the worst though with not being able to tell anyone!?!

Thanks everyone! Yes, we will find out what the sex is on this one (I say girl, Shaun says boy).
It is very difficult to keep it quiet in the beginning, especially when you feel so awful (or at least I did). I'm glad I'm in the second trimester (the "honeymoon" trimester) where I feel so much better and have energy again.
The other day Will was talking about how he drank milk from my "boobies." He asked me if he also drank apple juice from them as well!!
