DE PLANE, DE PLANE!

Yesterday Shaun and I (along with Will) decided to take a drive up north. Our destination was Hart's Turkey Farm - a family-owned turkey restaurant that has been open since the dinosaurs roamed the earth. They're known for home-cooked turkey dinners and other turkey-related eats. Shaun loves the place. In fact, that's an understatement.

We took the scenic route up which led us through small, sleepy towns and around Lake Winnipesaukee (NH). Shaun's snowmobile radar must've been going off because when we rounded the corner in Alton Bay, there were snowmobiles all over the ice as well as cars and planes!! We decided to get out of the car and take a closer peek. It was pretty cool being on the frozen lake amid all that machinery. Soon enough a helicopter landed right near us!

We didn't stay very long as we weren't really dressed to stand out on the ice for too long.

Plus we had turkey to eat.

Shaun was so excited about those stinkin' planes!! He cracks me up at how excited he gets about things - these planes landing on the lake, The turkey farm (which he professed to be his favorite restaurant), the 12 inches of snow that we're expecting...he's like an oversized 7 year old! Gotta love him!
